THE ORIGIN STORY

The Man Behind Code Written.

A journey of unbreakable discipline, an accidental turning point, and a rebirth through code.

CHAPTER 01

The Hunger For Knowledge

Hello friends, how are you all? My name is Sandeep Singh. There is no grand business logic or massive corporate strategy behind creating Code Written. The truth is, I have a deep passion for learning and discovering new things. My mind works like a 10-year-old’s, always hungry to learn something new. No one ever guided me on what to do in life, but my biggest strength has always been my ability to learn quickly and adapt. I never give up. Whatever happens in life, you are responsible for it yourself—you should never blame others.

CHAPTER 02

An Era of Strict Discipline

There was a time when I was an extremely disciplined person. My daily routine was rigorous: wake up at 5 AM, ride a bicycle 5 kilometers to a park, run 10 kilometers, and head back. After that, I would cycle all the way to Khan Market for work. I loved saving money—my salary was only ₹22,000, out of which I gave ₹10,000 to my family. On weekly off-days, I would run 21 kilometers from home to Connaught Place. My life had absolute dignity—no bad habits, no addictions, complete solitude, and pure focus on building something big.

"That bicycle is still with me today, and whenever I look at it, it feels like it's telling me— 'Sandeep, I want to apologize to you for that day...'"
CHAPTER 03

The Turning Point & The Bedridden Year

In late 2022, a battery-rickshaw crashed my cycle while riding down a bridge. Months later, chronic pain started. Then in July 2025, a high fever (typhoid) crippled my legs, forcing me to leave my job. Emergency bone surgery followed, leaving me bedridden since 2025. Today, I can walk a bit, but not more than 1 kilometer a day. Doctors permanently forbade me from sitting on the floor or running, effectively placing me in the disabled category. But I have no regrets. God saved my life, and though I miss my old discipline, I look forward.

CHAPTER 04

Rebirth Through Code

While confined to my bed, I knew I had to survive. I tapped into my 'fast learning' superpower and turned to YouTube. Java felt impossible, so I shifted to the browser. I thought web development meant uploading HTML/CSS like Instagram, not knowing JavaScript was the brain. Over the past year from my bed, I mastered VS Code, CMD, Terminal, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Next.js, Firebase, Search Console, Vercel, and Photoshop—building this entire platform with a month of relentless hard work.

I didn’t build this platform just for money. I love reading, writing, and exploring technology. My only prayer is that no one ever goes through what I did, and that God keeps His blessings upon all of you.

Your own friend,

Sandeep Singh
